In this meetup we will discuss how to be an anti-racist ally. We will discuss what strategies have worked for us in calling out racism in situations with friends, family, and co-workers. We will talk about how being an anti-racist ally is fundamentally connected to being allies to members of all marginalized groups. All who wish to partake in a respectful discussion are welcome to attend.

We hope to have a series of these discussions once every few weeks over the next few months. Please contact Nick if you would like to help organize and/or facilitate these events, or if you have ideas for future topics.

About CCI

CCI Logo

Community Change was born out of the Civil Rights Movement and in response to the Kerner Commission which named racism as "a white problem." CCI has done what few organizations are willing to do: shine a spotlight on the roots of racism in white culture with the intention of dealing with racism at its source, as well as with its impact on communities of color.
