Please join us at Anti-Racism Organizing in the Suburbs: Visioning, Networking and Skill Building, 9:30am-5pm, April 28th, First United Methodist Church, 645 Main St., Melrose. You can register at this link and find more detailed workshop and presenter information at the event webpage.
We are reaching out to you as individuals or groups who are involved in the work of organizing anti-racism efforts in local groups, religious organizations, civic groups, neighborhood gatherings, or state or national efforts. We would love to have you in the room with us on April 28th to meet and support each other by sharing training resources, information, and campaigns to build the movement together.
The Anti-Racism Organizing in the Suburbs (AROS) working group is a joint project of Community Change, Inc (CCI) and the Winchester Multicultural Network (WMCN) to create greater capacity for movement building, greater alignment for joint campaigns, and the strengthening of shared resources for effecting systemic change in suburban communities. Please join us!
And please forward this invitation to any other groups and active or emerging leaders you know or let us know their contact information so we can follow up with them, too. Also, please share the facebook event page, print, post and share the event poster attached below, or go to the event webpage for more detailed information about the workshops and presenters.
We will stay in touch with you with emerging details on the April 28th gathering. Thank you for all the work you are doing and we hope to see you soon!
